Overview

As the 5604R's replacement model, the Makita HS6601 has been improved with features like an ergonomic soft grip, lower noise emissions, and more power from a 1050-watt motor with a no-load speed of 5,200 RPM and a significantly improved cutting depth at 45 degrees of 37.5 mm.
This model is shipped in a Makita carton with a TCT saw blade, rip fence (guide rule), and hex wrench.
When switching blades, the flat motor housing design improves stability.
It is small and light, with a length of about 296 mm and a weight of only 3.7 Kg.
