Biscuit joiners (1)

A biscuit joiner or biscuit jointer (or sometimes plate joiner) is a carpentry apparatus used to join two bits of wood together.  A biscuit joiner utilizes a little roundabout saw edge to cut a bow formed opening (called the mouth) in the contrary edges of two bits of wood or wood composite boards. An oval-moulded, profoundly dried, and compacted wooden biscuit (beech or molecule wood) is covered with paste, or paste is applied in the opening. The biscuit is promptly positioned in the opening, and the two sheets are braced together. The wet paste grows the biscuit, further working on the bond.
